Introduction to Dao Yins & Nei Gong
In this workshop we will go deeper into the Wuji posture, begin exploring the Wu Dao Yins, and look at exercises and techniques which help to open the Qi of the heart center.
The five Wu Dao Yin exercises are moving forms of energetic purging. Each exercise is designed to target and open up key energetic centres within the body. As these centres are pulled open they generate enough space within the energy body to help clear stagnant Qi.
Dao yins are not to be confused with Qi gong as they operate from very different mechanics and are considered to be more Yang in nature.
Date: April 29th, 1-5pm
Please be aware that this is not specifically a medical Qi Gong workshop nor is the focus on gentle rest and relaxation. Instead we will focus on and practice classical-style arts which can demanding and challenging in many ways. Oh yes, don’t forget that a sense of humor is mandatory.
