From her very first yoga class in 2010, Gina Lee felt a deep connection to her highest self through her yoga practice and instantly knew yoga brought purpose into her life. The gift of yoga has transformed her not only physically, having lost 85 pounds, but also opened her mind and heart to a new world she never knew existed. Yoga eventually rooted in every aspect of her life, leading the way to find her life’s purpose, in “carrying other’s vision until they can hold it for themselves”.
Her personal practice grew so exponentially she quickly realized she wanted to teach this magical practice of yoga to others. She became a RYT 200 Certified yoga teacher through Arizona School of Yoga in Tucson, Arizona in June 2012.
When leading a class, her guidance come from listening to the whispers of the Universe as she likes to refer to it. Her Baron Baptiste inspired vinyasa flow class focuses on breath followed by movement.
Moving the body through a series of poses, along with breath, is what she believes is an essential tool for the path to emotional release caused by years of stress held in the body. In her class, she plays a variety of music that speaks to your spirit energy and uses yoga as the platform for a lifetime study of self-awareness and personal growth on the mat as well as off the mat.
